Sleep and digestion: If one eats large meals before retiring at night it can cause sleep disturbances. As a result - most recommend that you either have a light snack or don't eat before sleeping.

Not really.: Your body will digest food adequately if you go to sleep right after a meal. You will be somewhat more likely to have acid reflux if you go to bed with a full stomach, however. If you are not prone to reflux, there is no downside to sleeping immediately after eating. Good luck.
