A member asked:

I am experiencing severe abdominal pain middle and left side. reduced appetite and slight nausea. no issues re the bathroom, but pain is constant.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctor can evaluate: Many things are in the upper abdomen: stomach, pancreas, liver, small intestine, gall bladder, large intestine, abdominal muscles, etc... An exam by a primary care doctor can help figure things out. Pain in the right upper abdomen, especially with symptoms that occur after eating, can be due to gallstones or other gall bladder disease. The pancreas and stomach are in the left upper abdomen.
