Fiber conflict: Fiber, of both soluble & insoluble variety, provides health benefits--accelerates how quickly food transits through the gut; adds bulk to stool & improves bowel regularity; fills you up. Too much fiber can make you gassy, increase stool volume, interfere with drug metabolism. Ask your doc about appropriate timing of fiber and Rx intake.
