See Below: The L5-S1 facet joint is an articulation between the L5 vertebral body and the sacrum. You have one on both sides and this is normal. A pseudo-articulation is not a true articulation which may be suggesting a transitional vertebra. This means your L5 vertebra may have a large transverse process touching the sacrum and creating a pseudoarticulation or "sclerosis". Google Bertolotti Syndrome
