Few Steps: - Needs to diagnose the headache as a migraine and not something else. This is to be done by your doctor - Prevent having things that precipitate it like certain food or smells - Good hydration - If attacks to happen, simple pain killers like Paracetamol or Ibuprofen might help - Your doctor might prescribe you further medicine as needed - If it continues, see doctor for intravenous medicine

Many options: Medicines which are used to treat migraine attacks (episodes) include painkillers, anti-inflammatory painkillers, anti-sickness medicines, and triptans. Most people with migraine can find a treatment that works reasonably well for most attacks. However, children, and pregnant and breast-feeding women have a limited choice as many anti-migraine and anti-sickness medicines are not suitable for them.
