It is not unusual: It is not unusual to have wbcs with negative nitrites.It may be a good idea to know if you are on Antibiotics& what grows in urine cultuse,Whenever there are leucocytes in the urine it is due to urinary tract infection.Usually nitries test is also positive but can be neg sometimes.I am sure your doctor ordered urine culture.Follow up with your urologist who is treating you,as you may need antibiot
