By left side,: I'm not sure whether you mean in the left side of your abdomen or around to your side in what we call the flank area. Pain in the flank/side is often associated with something in the kidney...maybe even a little kidney stone? Pinching is not a common characteristic of abdominal pain...intensifying cramping would be suggestive of bowel obstruction. Not sure IBS related. Need eval; see your Doctor.
