Musculoskeletal: Hi If it hurts when pushing on it and is worse with moving around, likely it is related to muscle or ribcage cartilage. This is something we very commonly see and will probably go away on its own in a few days. Just needs a little rest (quit pushing on it); over the counter pain meds like advil can also help. If it is lower on the "flank" like behind the abdomen, that is a different issue.

Need more info: Is it random or is there something you do that faithfully will trigger it. Can you put your finger right on the spot and cause increased pain? Or is it an internal pain that is difficult to localize. Does it feel like a muscle ache? And electric shock? A burning? Is there a lump in the area? Any other symptoms? Nausea ? Gi cramps? Any recent trauma? See an MD to evaluate
