Ambien and Alcohol: Mixing ambien and alcohol can be DEADLY; and the FDA warns against even taking it hours after consuming alcohol. Ambien can be detected in urine 12-60 hours after you take it. If you consume alcohol, don't take Ambien; it's too dangerous.
