Asymmetry: Asymmetry of the sides of the abdomen is common and not necessarily pathologic. However if the difference is very pronounced or if there is tenderness in that area, a physician should evaluate and examine you to check for masses, hernia,aneurysm,.etc.

Needs to be checked: We can not tell you why your left side of stomach is more swollen.If you have no pain and no lump is palpable it may be nothing serious.But since it is a concern for you,i suggest you have it checked if it is abnormal swelling and if it is what is the cause
