Get seen: If you see visible swelling and having ulcer type pain get seen.Ulcer type pain can be boring or gnawing or get achy etc. Proton pump inhibitors and H2 blockers help ulcers,however I would go see someone soon with the visible symptoms that you are having.

Agree with Dr. K.: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see a GI doctor or a general surgeon.
