Cognitive specialist: Well, given that you are a medical student, you certainly can look up potential nootropic drugs, and see that at best they are speculative in nature with regard to efficacy. Similarly, the causes of memory loss are myriad, from metabolic to neoplastic and everything in between. Talk to one of your cognitive disorders specialist professors for more details.

Stress can affect me: Stress can affect memory, as can lack of sleep. Both of these are common in medical school. Learn to relax under stress. There are many meditation apps that can help. Do what you can to get enough sleep. Perhaps some brain exercises geared toward memory can help.
