I recently had ct & diagnosed with several swollen lymph nodes around my aorta. the largest at 4 cm. what can cause this ?

Why was CT done?: They are markers of a reactive, inflammatory, or infectious process. There is concern for cancer but would need to know more history. Should have the doctor who ordered the scan explain the findings.
