A member asked:

Nerve block shot on foot where doc suspects tarsal tunnel. local anesth lasting 2 weeks in part of foot. doc says it can happen. what could be reason?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Need more details: It isn't clear the historical aspects of a presumed diagnosis of tarsal tunnel syndrome, and the expectations regarding a block. It might be beneficial to discuss with another physician (ie second opinion) if you have questions regarding the therapy and you've already discussed it with the treating physician.
