Need more details: It isn't clear the historical aspects of a presumed diagnosis of tarsal tunnel syndrome, and the expectations regarding a block. It might be beneficial to discuss with another physician (ie second opinion) if you have questions regarding the therapy and you've already discussed it with the treating physician.
