YouCanDonateBloodBut: You do not donate Plasma but blood.According to the Red Cross even if you have Diabetese and take insulin or metformin,you can donate blood as long as your diabetes is under control.You can donate blood if you are taking simvastatin and are otherwise healthy without any heart disase,then you can be accepted as a donor after filling up a questnaire
