Well, if this has: been going on for weeks, it is time for an evaluation. You may have something called chondromalacia patellae, an irritation of the underside of the patella (knee cap) that results from imperfect contact and friction between the femur and patella. Identification of the cause and a program to correct malalignment, maltracking, or a tight IT band can help. Orthopedist can also help with wrist pain.

Joint pain: First, reduce your workout intensity, either by weight or repetition or duration, a good rule is to drop everything 50%. If pain persists, especially if pain is at rest, or so called night pain definitely get evaluated. If your joints are swollen or if you have fever or rash get evaluated. If cutting down activity doesn't help in a day or two get evaluated.
