Many possible reason: There are many possible reasons that your P wave could be taller than your R-wave. Some are harmless and others could suggest that further investigation of the cause might be helpful. Ask the doctor in the ER or hospital where you are headed. Otherwise, talk to your PCP after hospitalization.
