Either, really.: Both asthma and GERD can cause wheezing, especially at night. As well, given your cardiac history, there is such a thing as a "cardiac wheeze" which is related to congestion of the lung interstitium with fluid. These possibilities need to be addressed formally.

Could be any : Of the conditions that you listed, in fact those are the three major causes of wheezing/shortness of breath that occur at night, overweight/obesity can be a precipitating factor. Ventolin inhaler would help, as well as GERD precautions (raising the head of the bed, antacids, etc.). Bisoprolol, although a selective beta blocker, would at times induce wheezing, f/u w ur doctor for re-evaluation
