A member asked:

Whenever there's bowel cramping or passing stool i feel pain/tingling that radiates to legs, especially left side, why? no constipation or straining

Referred: Most likely there are referred symptoms from the network of nerves surrounding the rectal area when the rectum is stretched or stimulated. If there are no other problems you're aware of it may not be necessary to investigate further, but if you have continued concerns, consult a proctologist or colorectal surgeon for advice.
