Superficial or deep?: Is the pain on the surface or deep in the abdomen? Does the swelling come and go or change with coughing? Is it in the skin? Or deep to the muscle? Associated with nausea? Cramps? Related to menses ? Need a lot more info but will Be tough to diagnose given the fleeting symptoms. . See a surgeon
