Ct scan showed mild apparent mid to distal colonic wall thinking likely due to under distention what can cause this ?

It sounds like: the radiologist thinks it is normal. If the colon is in a collapsed state(vs. distended) it may look like the wall is abnormally thickened on CT, when in fact it is normal.
