Vaginal infection ?: Bacterial vaginosis is caused by bacteria, and susceptibility to specific antibiotics varies with the organism responsible. Also, change of partners, or partner acquired infection (from other sources) will give repeated infections which will seem to be continuous, since treatments even if effective will not prevent a subsequent infection secondary to such additional sources.
