Considering a crown that dentist recommended... how long do crowns typically last? can food get stuck behind them?

Dental Restorations: Dental restorations like crowns are quite durable and if properly maintained can last a long time. Generally speaking, they can last ten years or more before needing replacement due to decay. Some will last less, but some can last a whole lot longer.
