Here are some...: If living up to > 50, some 35-50% of persons will develop small cysts in kidneys, which display themselves as isoechoic mass. For a 2.8-cm one, it is reasonable to just follow it conservatively by repeating a renal US in one year for comparison; that is enough. By the way, do you have blood in the urine? More? Ask your PCP or urologist. Best wish...
