Safe: Pepcid (famotidine) is used in newborns in levels higher than would be found in breastmilk. It is safe. Claritin (loratadine) an antihistamine might alter breast milk flow. Consider instead using nasal steroid or nasal cromolyn (both over the counter). Both are safe with breastfeeding.
