Getting worse?: If the rash seems to be getting worse (more red or spreading) and is painful then it could be an infection from bacteria getting into the skin through the bee sting. If the infection is serious enough it may need antibiotics. However its not uncommon to have some mild redness, swelling, itching for a few days-week after a bite. So if not severe or worsening then watching + waiting is ok.
