Musculoskeletal : The most likely cause of this is a lower abdominal muscle strain or pull. Limited physical activity and heat to the area will help, as well as anti-inflammatory meds. If the pain does not improve with this, or if it gets severe, then you should see a physician to rule out a hernia.
