I'm nursing my 2.5 month old baby and i was just diagnosed with a kidney infection. can the infection be passed to my baby if it's in my blood?

No: Kidney infection cannot be passed from you to baby via breastfeeding. Kidney infection is usually limited to urinary tract and not in blood. Your physician will need to prescribe an antibiotic that is compatible with breastfeeding.
