T12 Comp Fx: Don't worry you will be okay. Make sure you have consulted an Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon. You should get a CT scan directed by that specialist. With <50% loss of vertebral height hopefully no instability in your spine. Surgery only indicated if your nerves are at risk and knowing the mechanism of your injury helps. Ask your specialist to explain your options again. Good luck.
