Months to more than : One year. You will likely never be fully normal. You sustained a severe injury. Bit you should continue to improve up to 18 months after surgery.

Several months: That sounds like a pretty severe injury and surgery. The fusion itself usually heals between 8-12 weeks after surgery, but with so many levels involved it could be a 6-8 Months for a "full" recovery.
