More likely nerve ro: The commonest cause of pain running from your back down a leg is nerve root pain. Let your pcp examine you but you may also need to see a specialist like an orthopedic surgeon or a neurosurgeon depending on the findings. If the pain is constant or frequent, see your pcp soon.
