Hello.. is this really a doctor i'm talking to? i have sudden pain on my left side under my ribs.. it is intermittent.

See a doc soon: Sudden chest pain on left side is non specific but can be serious. More details will be needed to make presumptive diagnosis. The pain could be coming from something less serious : stomach acid, inflammation of costal cartilage in the ribcage, skin inflammation, herpes. It could also be serious like heart attack, inflammation of sac covering the heart or lung. If persistent see a doctor soon.
