Infection: Enlarge lymph nodes probably is secondary to infection but if dose not resolve or become larger, need biopsy to find the cause so be treated.

Antibiotics: Lymph nodes are infection traps. Antibiotics slow the spread of infection, but will not cure an infected tooth. Must have root canal treatment or extraction before antibiotics are discontinued or symptoms may come roaring back. Pills alone will not fix problem. Get infected tooth treated ASAP.
