A member asked:

My resting heart rate is about 60bpm but i can feel the pumping in my ears, neck, shoulders and back. is this normal as an athlete?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Heart rate: Most of us don't feel our pulsations, when you are a trained athlete and have a larger than usual stroke volume, it makes it easier to feel the pumping. This may be all you are feeling. If it is bothersome to you, see your doctor to be checked out.
