Post-nasal drip: Cough is really the last symptom to resolve for viral upper respiratory infections. Cough medications, hydration (at least 6-8 cups water per day) +/- an inhaler will likely help make this cough go away. If you are having wheezing and/or coughing bouts (several consecutive coughs) an inhaler may help and requesting this from your PCP (Primary Care Physician) is advised.
