My new pcp in her infinite wisdom, without discussing it with me 1st, switched me from my usual famotidine 20mg to ranitidine 300 mg difference?

Ranitidine/famotidin: Both histamine 2 receptor blockers so work similarly. If you feel the famotidine treated your symptoms better and was more convenient to take; then have her switch back. The Ranitidine is generally given twice daily. All the best. Thanks.
