No-discuss w ur doc: These two medicines are of the same class and should not be taken together. More is not necessarily better and increases risk of side effects. If breakthrough symptoms, should consider switch to different class such as proton pump inhibitors but be sure to discuss w your doctor to be sure underlying cause and potential complications have been sought.
