A member asked:

Had a benign mole shave removed. it grew back fairly quickly. dr said because it was "young". but do i have to be worried it grew back as melanoma?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See new doctor: Shaving a mole is not a good treatment. A mole should be removed in its entirety and submitted to a pathologist for examination. You should consult a dermatologist for proper evaluation and treatment. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
