Depends: I am not unaware of such sectional divisions but even if I do, liver size varies from one person to another - usually the larger the frame the bigger the liver.

What is prompting: the question? I am not aware of any absolute ranges of size based on the 8 functional liver segments. A size abnormality specific to a segment would have to be evaluated relative to the rest of the liver.
