A member asked:

I have 3 weeks cough and in my x- ray result i have right paracardiac pneumonitis. please explain the what it means by right paracardiac pneumonitis.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pneumonitis/ Pneumon: This report indicates that you have a small patch of Pneumonia located next to your heart(on the right side). If you have symptoms of pneumonia your doctor would/should have given you an antibiotic. Do you have any fever or chest pain?? Call up your doctor for antibiotics, if not already given.
