My dads wound vac just started beeping after being on for 5 days w/out noise. should i be concerned? is there a volume button to turn it down?

Error beeping: So there are a few possibilities. The battery is getting low and needs to be plugged in, the wound vac has lost its seal and is no longer functioning or the wound vac reservoir is full and the cannister needs to be exchanged.
