Use short term: Deltasone certainly has a long list of side effects but if the medicine is used in lower dosages which 10 mg is and if the drug is used for a short period one to wo weeks for example side effects can be minimal and is usually well tolerated. assuming you do not have other medical problems such as diabetes, the medication should be tolerated. Good luck
