A member asked:

Tennis elbow - started 2 months ago. how often should shockwave therapy be done? is once a week enough or 3 times a week more effective?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: It depends on the system your physician is using. Some shock wave treatments are low-intensity and are used multiple times. Some are high-intensity and only used once or twice. Personally, I don't recommend shock-wave treatments for stubborn tennis elbow. I prefer a percutaneous tenotomy or regenerative injections.
