Urgent Med-check up: Abdominal pain can be due to many different causes, some of them serious. An urgent medical examination is needed if the pain is severe. Go to an ER for a medical check up without delay or see your PCP in his office if he/she can see you right away.

Go to ER: many different things can cause abdominal pain some of which are serious and some of which are not. But if you are having SEVERE pain. you should not wait -- get seen by an MD. Gallbladder, pancreatitis, ulcers, constipation, perforated appendicitis, muscle strain etc.
