How high TSH?: If TSH level is elevated but still below 10 and no goiter, hypothyroidism is unlikely and needs further follow-up in 6-12 months. Mild elevation of TSH is often noted in obese patients.

What does normal TSH and high free t4 mean? Have had the labs checked twice and having many symptoms (tired, heart palpitations, headaches, etc.?

Thyroid meds needed or re test? exhausted. Free T4 always normal. TPO AB OK but high in past. TSH usually 2.5-4.3. first time over lab range at 5.5.
