ASAP: sounds like olecranon bursitis: an inflammation of the covering of the elbow joint. You will need an x-ray and possible steroid tablets to reduce the inflammation and you must be examined to rule out an infected joint space.

RICE : You should get a physical exam, preferably from an orthopaedic surgeon, to examine your elbow bones ligaments tendons and joint space.
