Congested nose: rarely. Humans are obligate nose breather. Breathe through mouth if only option. Nasal congestion and adenoid hypertrophy can lead to sleep apnea, chronic ear disease, sinus infections, behavior problems, daytime drowsiness, inattention, etc, etc. Best to see ENT for evaluation and possible treatment
