It's a bit much. : Those two medications are similar. You wouldn't need to combine them that way. Too much of those medications can affect your stomach and kidneys.

Yes: Thats okay. Don't worry, you'll be just fine. If you are having moderate to severe pain, its okay to take 600 mg ibuprofen every 6 hours, or 800 mg ibuprofen every 8 hours, max out at about 3200 mg per day by prescription but 1200 with OTC dosing. Doses are within a safe range for around 10 days. Naproxen max 660 OTC 1500 Rx. Double the dose of naproxen you take to calculate ibuprofen equivalent
