Meniscus tear or : Possibly a patellar subluxation. Those are the most common reasons for a pop in the knee with an impact. Ligament and ACL injuries are usually non contact and associated with instability. If your pain is on the inside of the knee could be a meniscus. If it is in the front of the knee most likely kneecap subluxation. Ice nsaids and time. If not better then see a doc.

Be seen: Not normal. Concerning for internal derangement of knee, potentially meniscal tear. Don't hesitate to be seen for an accurate diagnosis. MRI can be test of choice.
