Absolute eo's?: Percentage of eosinophils means nothing. Find out what the absolute eosinophil count. Be worried if it's above 1000. Be VERY worried if it's 1500 or more for more than a month. Especially, you'll want to rule out Churg-Strauss, dermatomyositis, trichinosis, Hodgkin's, cutaneous larve migrans, and a few others. I'm a lab specialist and these things are secondary to a good physical exam. Best wishes
